While white water rafting is probably the most well know activitiy we also highly recommend "Duckies" which are small inflatable "armchairs" which you have to try and stay in while you are thrown down a series of rapids! Other great ideas are the local gorge scrambling and the canyoning - if you have the balls you can even try your hand at cliff jumping!! (Thats not for the faint hearted!). Edinburgh is a historic capital city with some amazing buildings and streets, which come to life in the evening to the sound of the scottish masses.
